We Just Finished: Heres What Exists Now

Today, we’re celebrating something real.

The rough draft of the book is *done*. All 15 chapters. 60,000+ words. Every story. Every framework. Every tactical piece of survival knowledge I’ve been building toward.

And the resource hub is live. Real resources. Not generic links. Actual tools for people navigating the systems I’ve lived through.

This isn’t a small thing. Let me tell you why.

## What We Built

**The Book:** 15 chapters covering everything from surviving juvenile detention to using education as a tool for transformation to building community that actually works. It’s not finished-finished (editing comes next), but the story is there. The framework is there. The survival knowledge is documented.

**The Resources:** A hub for people who need actual help—today. Not when the book launches. Now.

– Crisis lines (988, Crisis Text Line, others)
– Benefits navigation guides
– Mental health + addiction services (not generic, specific)
– Legal support options
– Employment resources for people with records
– Housing survival guides
– State-specific information (Colorado focus, expandable)

The resources page isn’t perfect. But it’s *useful*. And it exists.

## Why This Matters

There are thousands of people who needed this yesterday.

They’re:
– Inside institutions right now, trying to figure out their rights
– Recently released, confused about reentry traps
– Stuck in cycles of homelessness and housing instability
– Navigating benefits systems designed to exclude them
– Trying to find jobs with records that follow them
– Looking for community and finding systems instead

That’s who this is for.

Before today, if someone asked me for real guidance on these things, I could tell my story. I could offer what I knew from lived experience. But my knowledge wasn’t documented. It wasn’t accessible. It wasn’t scaled.

Now it is.

The book will go deeper. The workbooks will be even more tactical. But the foundation exists. The framework exists. The resources are live.

## What Comes Next (30-60 Days)

1. **Book editing** — polish, structure, make it shine
2. **Publishing** — we’re going direct to KDP (Amazon), not traditional. Faster. More control. Direct to people.
3. **Workbooks** — taking the book framework and turning it into action guides for specific situations (reentry, benefits, housing, mental health in systems, etc.)
4. **Email outreach** — building audience and community
5. **Instagram** — getting Phoenix Uprising in front of people who are searching for exactly this.
6. **Consulting** — bringing on people who need 1-on-1 guidance through complex system navigation.

It’s real. It’s moving fast. And it’s not slowing down.

## To Everyone Who’s Been Part of This

To the people who read chapters and gave feedback. To the therapists, mentors, community members who helped me survive what I’m now writing about. To the people navigating systems right now who reminded me why this matters.

Thank you.

This exists because of you. Because I know what it feels like to be on the other side. Because I remember what I needed when I was stuck.

## If You’re Reading This

And you’re stuck in a system right now. Or you just got out. Or you’re supporting someone who’s navigating this:

**You’re not alone.**

Check the resource hub. Reach out if you need guidance.

This platform is for you.

Not inspiration-only. Not generic advice. Real, tactical, survivor-built guidance.

We’re just getting started.
